A little more about the WPG

These athletic, high endurance dogs can hunt long and hard and still have energy to spare, though they aren't hyper. They love water and will swim for fun. They will dive right into thick brush and run up steep hills and back down again with ease. They are intelligent and eager to please, making them generally easy to train. They are deeply devoted dogs who thrive on lots of attention and activity. Anyone considering a Griff should plan on having plenty of space for them to run, every day. They will become territorial, meaning they will bark at people who come into their space, and they aren't known for their love of cats or skunks, although many people have trained their puppies to accept family members of the feline sort.

Here are a few photos of our Griffon family playing fetch.
